Last Trolley Line in New York City

by | Nov 2, 2014

I passed the Queensboro bridge today with traffic blocked for the the marathoners running across it and at the same time, I came across this picture. The trolley pictured was the last active trolley line in NYC. It ran across the bridge to Manhattan to an underground terminal. The entrance structure is still visible at the tiny square splitting up the Manhattan and Queens bound traffic.
