Just came back from a week vacation in the Berkshires. Great scenery, nice people, wonderful things to see BUT lousy bagels. Very bready even when you go to specialty stores and bakeries (of which there are a lot of). You would think that a place that is a summer vacation haunt for New Yorkers and transplanted New Yorkers coming up from Florida would have bagels that would appeal to them but no.
This is something that Ben Bagel will have to tackle before he goes back for another vacation there. More on this in the future.
