BROOKLYN BRIDGE WHOLE WHEAT BAGEL TOUR

Come with Ben Bagel as we walk across the most outstanding architectural gem of New York City and the world – The Brooklyn Bridge!

Explore downtown Manhattan sites such as New York’s City Hall, the oldest one still open in the United States and the begin our crossing over the bridge itself. Experience the view from the bridge of both the skyline of New York and the New York Harbor where the Statue of Liberty is. We then exit the bridge and enter Brooklyn and DUMBO (Down Under the Manhattan and Brooklyn Bridge Overpasses.) Once a bustling industrial center, now an area for shops, restaurants and high end apartments.

Bagel Tour Tidbits:

Did you know? It was Emily Roebling, the wife of John Roebling Jr., who, when her husband was unable to continue working on the bridge, took over the day-to-day operations and assisted in the completion of the Bridge.

Did you know? When the bridge opened in 1883, people were frightened to walk over, fearing it would collapse. To calm their fears, a group of elephants was paraded across the bridge to show people that the bridge was perfectly safe!

The tour of the Brooklyn Bridge is about 2 hours. Please wear comfortable shoes.

Tickets must be purchased in advance!
